Q: What’s my fundraiser’s special sign-up URL?
A: The unique link was sent to your director. Ask them for it.
Q: Why do I need to create an account?
A: Creating an account allows you to add and edit potential donors with ease. All of your information is collected in one spot making it super easy for you.
Q: What information do I need to share for potential donors?
A: Submit a name (as you would refer to them), email address, and cell phone number. We will send emails and SMS messages to your potential donors on your behalf, so it’s important to name them how you would speak to them (e.g., Grandma, Aunt Sheryl, Dr. Smith, etc.).
Q: What happens to potential donor information once my fundraiser is over?
A: All potential donor information is purged from our system. Potential donor information is NEVER shared with anyone or any company.
Q: How many potential donors should I submit?
A: The more people that see your fundraiser, the greater the chance you’ll receive donations. So, adding as many potential donors as possible is ideal. The minimum goal for each individual in your fundraiser is 15. Don’t add bogus names because they don’t benefit your fundraiser whatsoever.
Q: Who are good potential donors?
A: In most cases, anyone who you believe is willing to support your fundraiser. Don’t add strangers or teachers. Good potential donors include grandparents, aunts and uncles, extended family, godparents, mentors, coaches, religious or other extracurricular leaders, co-workers of yours or your family’s. Work with your parents to help brainstorm people in your network who may want to help you!
